| Follow the Spaulding Turnpike-North (Rte 16) through one toll (0.50) to Exit 18 (approx. 30-35 minutes from exit 7). Take a right off of Exit 18 and then your first "sharp" left immediately off the exit. Follow this road 1 to 2 miles. You will see the field on your right hand side off this road. Can't miss it! | |
| These ground rules are per Dave Robertson, long standing coach of AMM, avid softball fan, and wonderful man of God: "As far as Milton Mills goes, our ground rules have always been limited. In fair ground, a fly ball into the trees in left is a home run. Everything else is in play between the lines. We have not called a ground ball into the bushes in left a dead ball because it is 290 ft. down the line in left. I am open to it if you like. However, I have never seen a ball lost over there in 30 years other than the occassional homer into the trees. And we did once have a left fielder deliberately kick a ball into the bushes anticipating a call for a ground rule double. The field is so wide open that it has always seemed best to me to keep things simple. As far as right field, there is nothing that a batter can hit a ball into over there. In foul territory, usually we call a dead ball from bench to backstop and along the road beyond the bench to the right side. An out of play on the left field side beyond the bench is usually determined by the mowed grass and a little outcropping of the woods." |
